Bryn Ifan Camping Terms and Conditions and cancellation policy

FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL OUR GUESTS AND FOR THE SITE, WE ASK EVERYONE TO OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING RULES:

Cancellation Policy and Terms & Conditions for our general holidays/stays at Bryn Ifan Camping

Thank you for booking your holiday with us to stay at Bryn Ifan Camping. We know this is the boring part but please take a couple of minutes to read through our cancellation policy and terms and conditions as they contain important information that forms part of the contract between you and Bryn Ifan Camping.

Cancellation policy

We take a 30% deposit at the time of booking. At this point your holiday is considered confirmed and the following cancellation charges come into effect. You are strongly advised to ensure that you have insurance to cover cancellation or curtailment of your holiday. At the point of booking & paying a deposit you are deemed to have accepted our terms and conditions. We will ask you to pay the balance for your holiday 8 weeks before your arrival date.

Cancellation policy for all accommodation:

50% refund up until 30 days before check-in time after that time 100% will be charged.

Where the balance of the payment for your holiday has not been paid 4 weeks prior to the commencement of your holiday, we will send you a reminder. If within 10 days of the reminder being sent the balance is still outstanding, Bryn Ifan Camping will be entitled to rescind the agreement, retain the deposit, and then claim against you all losses incurred. In the case of cancellation more than 8 weeks before the commencement of your stay only the deposit will be forfeited. It is your responsibility to ensure you have appropriate insurance. We strongly recommend that you do.

Bryn Ifan Camping Terms & Conditions:

Dogs

Dogs are NOT allowed on the campsite No dogs or pets of any kind are allowed anywhere onsite as Bryn Ifan is a working sheep farm and there are often lambs near to the site.

Camping Check-in & check-out:

Check-in: 4.00pm-7.00pm on the day of arrival.

Check-out: By 11am on day of departure

Parking

All vehicles must be parked in the yard. There is one car space allocated to each pitch so please let us know if you want to bring another car. There is extra parking available at the back of the site. Please note the camping area is a car free so cars are not allowed in the meadow. There are a number of wheelbarrows in the car park to take your luggage to the pitches. Please return the barrows back to the car park when you have finished unloading.

Smoking

No smoking or vaping is allowed onsite at Bryn Ifan Camping

The Swing and Children's Play area

Please supervise your children on the swing and play area. Please enjoy our games in the barn but please do not allow children to climb on the tables

Guests

Only those guests originally booked are permitted to stay on site. Any extra guests will only be permitted on site at the site owner’s discretion. Please let us know if there are any extra guests coming onto the site. They will also need to be registered and are at the discretion of the management.

Group bookings & parties

No groups of more than 2 pitches are welcome on site without prior consent from Bryn Ifan Camping.

We welcome friends & family gatherings by prior agreement only. If you would like to hold a celebration or party at our site, then please contact us to arrange booking the whole site (venue hire charge will apply).

Behaviour

In order to make everyone’s stay at Bryn Ifan enjoyable, all guests are requested to be considerate of others.
Inappropriate or anti-social behaviour may lead to removal from the Bryn Ifan Camping site without a refund of the rental sum or any part of it.

Noise

Bryn Ifan Camping is an eco-camp and disturbance of nature and other guests should be kept to a minimum please, particularly after 10pm which is our quiet time. The noise levels are at the discretion of the site managers. No amplified music is permitted on the campsite at any time. We reserve the right to cancel the remaining booking of any guests or groups who cause complaints from other guests or if anyone does not respect the rules and polices of the site, the Site Manager and their team reserve the right to refuse them admission or ask them to leave the site at any time. If you are asked to leave under these circumstances, no monies will be refunded.

Lighting

As Bryn Ifan is an eco-camp, lighting is kept to a minimum as we want everyone to enjoy the vast starry skies with a minimum of light pollution. Please bring torches to use onsite at night.

Cleaning

Please leave your pitch and all facilities clean and tidy. When it's time to go home, please leave no trace of your stay in the camping fields, so that other people and wildlife can continue to enjoy this unspoilt site.

Rubbish and recycling

Recycling facilities are provided at the main gate to our yard, please recycle everything possible. Guide notes are provided for the waste types in each bin. The goal is zero waste and as little plastic as possible on site. No bulky packaging or broken camping gear can be disposed of on site.

Deliveries

We do not accept or take responsibility for deliveries for guests on site- this includes supermarket deliveries. Deliveries can be made to local collection points. NO PACKAGING can be disposed of while on site.

Fire Precautions

Please make your group aware of fire notices and the location of the fire extinguishers. There is one inside the camper’s barn and one on the post leading to the meadow.

Fires & BBQs - Disposable BBQs are not allowed (they scorch the ground and create a lot of non-recyclable waste).

Firewood and Firepits - Please don’t gather fire wood from around the site; fallen wood provides natural habitat, and damp or rotting wood burns smokily. We sell firewood and you can hire a barbeque/firepit from us (payable on arrival). The numbers are limited so do let us know in advance if you would like us to reserve you one.

Liability

A. Bryn Ifan Camping accepts no liability for theft, loss or damage, of whatever nature, during or as a result of your stay.

B. The person who books assumes responsibility for any other guests within his/her party, their companions, their children and any others invited by you or them to the site. You and all members of your party are jointly and severally responsible for all loss, damage or injury which may arise, for Bryn Ifan Camping or any third party, as a direct or an indirect consequence of your party’s stay.

Force Majeure

Where we need to cancel or change your booking as a consequence of circumstances beyond our control, our liabilities are limited to offering alternative dates, where available. We cannot pay any compensation or meet any expenses or costs you may incur as a result of any such cancellation or change. "Force majeure" means any circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Bryn Ifan Camping including, without limitation, an act of God, fire, flood, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, war or threat of war or acts or threat of acts of terrorism.

Complaints

Should you find you have any complaint during your stay at Bryn Ifan Camping please notify us immediately and we will do all we can to rectify the problem. Please refer the matter to Callie or Gwynn if you feel it necessary. Should you remain unsatisfied please notify us in writing within 7 days of the end of your stay.

Disclaimer

It is your responsibility to ensure you and all members of your party are familiar with our terms and conditions.

Camping can be dangerous. Although every care is taken in managing the various facilities, such as fire pits, wood burning stoves, camping gas stoves and open water, Bryn Ifan camping cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage arising from any misadventure associated with any activity.
By completing a booking with Bryn Ifan Camping you agree to observe our guidance and recommendations and take full responsibility for your own safety.
By completing a booking with Bryn Ifan Camping you and all members of your party are deemed to have accepted our terms and conditions.
